Data Encryption

To use the data encryption executables you will need to download the software for your platform. Each bundle contains an encryption program, a decryption program and an explanatory text file.

UNIX

The bundles for UNIX platforms have been tar'ed and zip'ed using the gzip utility.
After downloading the file you will need to issue the following two commands

gzip -d encryption_files_ < platform > .tgz

which will result in an unzipped file

encryption_files_ < platform > .tar

then

tar -xvf encryption_files_ < platform > .tar

which will result in the three files client_encode_password, client_decode_password and readme
If you do not have the gzip utility it can be obtained from http://www.gzip.org or http://www.gnu.org

INTEL/NT

For the Intel based NT platform the bundle has been zip'ed into the archive encryption_files.zip You will need to use WinZip to access the files client_encode_password.exe, client_decode_password.exe and readme.txt

You can download the appropriate software for your platform by selecting one of the following items:
